Love your skin! Clean Beauty Trends in 2025!

It has taken me some time to sit down and write this blog. A lot has happened to my family within the last month, specifically my husband has been diagnosed with a rare disease that mimics cancer. It has given me time to reflect on my love for this industry. My goal has always been, first and foremost, to help educate and help give back. Now more than ever, I feel it’s more important than ever to help my kids and others understand the role that environment plays in your overall health and how to navigate a safer lifestyle.

I recently read an article from BeautyMatter on 2025 beauty trends. BeautyMatter spoke with industry leaders, brand founders, and category experts to learn what skincare trends will shape the landscape in the coming year. Reading about these trends inspired this blog because I’m excited about the evolution of clean beauty and the focus of safer ingredients. These are my top takeaways about what to expect this year.

1. Proven Old-School Ingredients Paired with New Innovations

Consumers want newness, but they also want the familiar effectiveness of ingredients they’ve come to know and trust over the years-for example, Beautycounter’s beloved C Serum, Arbonne’s GreenSynergy Elixir and Oliveda’s F59, Botox in a bottle. The challenge for companies will be innovating while keeping costs down as price points will continue to be a key driver in 2025.

2. Ingredients: Plant-Based Adaptogens and Botanical Extracts

Adaptogens are becoming essential in skincare, particularly in body care products like mists, lotions, and oils. Consumers are looking for skincare that not only improves their complexion but also promotes overall well-being. Stay tuned for what I’ve been testing with mushrooms! Arbonne already has their inner calm. I love putting a teaspoon of this in my CleanTox tea in the morning or dream tea at night to help with sleep.

3. From Anti-Aging to Skin Longevity

The skincare conversation is reframing products that target signs of aging to products that promote skin longevity and focus on cellular health and vibrancy. Look for products that enhance blood circulation and oxygen delivery to the skin, boost collagen production, stimulate cellular regeneration, support lymphatic drainage, and improve skin permeability. Think masks, collagen-robust powders to put in drinks + serums. Again, I will be sharing some new and old products that will support all skin longevity goals.

4. Safer Solutions for Acne-prone Skin

More products will emerge to really tackle acne but in that safe, clean way vs. all the products dermatologists recommend that are not safe. I’m curious what this will look like because it’s a concern for many customers. Not all clean products work well, so the industry will need to be more innovative to really tackle the hormonal roller coaster ride many are on with acne-prone skin.

5. Men’s Skincare Reaches Its Inflection Point

More men are getting interested in caring for their skin - the category has grown nearly 100% every year since 2022. More than half of all US men use skincare now, with younger generations leading the charge (over 68% of Gen Z use skin care products!). The men’s skincare boom has led to a broader shift towards inclusive, gender-neutral products. While some skincare brands may target men directly, other newer brands are taking a gender-neutral approach, which seems to be resonating with today’s consumer.

6. Beauty Services to Support Natural Aging
Other beauty trends mentioned ended the article on the beauty service industry and trends that continue to advance with red light therapy, facials, and different techniques for improving the skin and helping it age naturally.

Thank you for your continued support

I appreciate each and every one of you and will continue provide information about safer options whenever possible.
